Transaction Advisory Services, or in short TAS, is the place to be: If you have a high level of motivation and drive to start a career in professional services If you know for a fact that when we’re talking about transactions, we don’t mean the petty kind, but the kind of high strategic projects you read about in the newspapers If you’re more than familiar with such concepts as: corporate finance, transaction support or valuation and business modelling If you’re curious to understand client needs and organizational structure If you are so passionate about new learning experiences that you will be willing to spend some extra time to steepen your learning curve. No worries, those extra minutes will be compensated with free days or extra coins in your pocket You have a very analytical solution approach and you come with structured arguments straight to the point If you love to pay close attention even to the smallest of the small details You are not afraid to dive into new waters. Because new projects, new clients, new demands is your cup of tea You love to be challenged all day every day because boring routine is too easy for you You like the morning coffee/tea to be the only routine of your working day If anything worth doing, is worth doing it right, every single time. Of course, it’s great if you have managed to sit through extensive economics, accounting and finance lectures on your way to a Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree. But we leave no good candidate behind, regardless of your studies, as long as your background and experience shows some interest in the Transaction Advisory field. We don’t need you to be William Shakespeare, but you need a good command of English and communication skills to make it. Also, truth is, if you’re fluent especially in Romglish you’ll feel easily at home, it’s our conversation language on a daily basis. And no way we’re joking! We assume that you are familiar with Word, Power point and Excel. So if your computer literacy goes beyond your Instagram and Twitter skills, then that eases your work as well as ours.
Dive in – What will you be doing? You will receive proper induction training and guidance in your first weeks at EY to equip you with all the info you need to kick it off You will learn how to use EY tools in order to respond to EY policies and procedures You will perform research on the inner workings of organizations in order to understand client needs, on relevant external publications in relation to current deals and market trends You will support seniors/managers in gathering information relevant for the engagement You will assist seniors/managers in the preparation of a pitch document/research paper /TAS proposal by pulling together relevant research on prospective client in response to tender requirements You will assist seniors/managers in the preparation of financial analyses, including ratio and trend analysis, for a wide range of engagements You will analyze and present information in a coherent and succinct manner, ensuring appropriate working paper documentation is maintained You will draft specific report/presentation sections based on analysis performed
