IT Infrastructure Specialist M/F - VIE Bucharest
At Société Générale, you will be joining International Banking and Financial Services business. With some 78,000 staff members and operations in 64 countries, the International Banking and Financial Services business offers a wide range of products and services to 31 million individual, professional and corporate customers.
BRD – Groupe Societe Generale is the Romanian Societe Generale subsidiary part of IBFS group and the second largest bank in Romania.
Through its own IT infrastructure and production management services center (DSI/GIP), the entity is delivering IT services for BRD, BRD affiliates (BRDAV, BRDFP, BRD Finance, SogeLease) and some of Societe Generale subsidiaries (e.g. MBSG, SGGH). DSI/GIP entity is organized based on ITIL framework and is acting as IT services center for its clients.
The BMI team is part of the IT Operations group in DSI/GIP managing the entire Databases and Middleware IT infrastructure and Monitoring tools in BRD. The team is composed today of 8 FTE. Beginning with mid February 2016, 1 FTE will be in maternity leave. In this context, there is the need to complete the BMI team, and a VIE can provide added value mainly for below specified tasks.
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities
IT Vulnerability scans – based on Nesus Tool, will be responsible for IT infrastructure scan, report and track fixing vulnerabilities.
ITIL© Problem Management - responsible for managing the lifecycle of all problems, maintain information’s about problems and the appropriate workarounds and resolutions. Work together with Incident Management and Change Management to ensure the IT service quality.
ITIL© Lifecycle Management - responsible for managing the lifecycle of all the infrastructure software. Coordinate the upgrade plans in order to have infrastructure software up-to-date and the best vendor support stage.
ITIL© Capacity Management - responsible for reporting the capacity of IT infrastructure in order to ensure that we are able to deliver the agreed service level targets in a cost effective and timely manner.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Bucharest is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Graduate with a Master degree from a Business School or University with a specialization in IT.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), and project management tools.
An ITIL certification would be a plus. You have good knowledge of Operating systems : AIX, Windows, Security scanning Tools, Databases
