Duties and Responsibilities Engineering Phase: • Ensure time plan contains APQP elements • Drive APQP elements • Deep knowledge of customer specific requirements • Monitor and drive progress of customer specific documents such as QPN, RMT, • Feedback and escalate to PM and CQM (R,Y,G) • Support Customer Builds • Prepare customer audits in acc. with CQM • Ensure that boundary books are approved and maintained with the customer Start of Production SOP: • Regular customer visits at Plant and 'STA' • COP testing (external testing in vehicle environment, currently EU OEMs only)• Champion of all 8Ds - feedback to customer • Collect and screen production returns • Collect and screen warranty returns • Coordinate KSS plants • Representing all KSS products from all KSS sites • Responsible for immediately communicating customer concerns • Gather and communicate customer survey data • Regular cross check of quality and delivery data from customer portal as well as plant data against QCR • Coordination of field rep (if applicable)
CerinteKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Ability to work globally (travel required) • Best knowledge of relevant quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, Problem Solving • Quality Management Systems • Preferably Quality Engineer education / training or program management tools • Proven proficiency in Quality, Engineering or Production • Understanding and experience in multi-cultural environment • Proven ability for leadership and creation of enthusiasm Education: • Engineer - preferably degree in mechanical Engineering • Fluent English and German Foreign languages: •English at advanced level Experience Required: • Min. 2 years job experience preferably in automotive industry • Experience and ability to work with OEMs is welcome
