Société Générale European Business Services was founded in 2011  to be the shared service center for Societe Generale Group and delivers high added value services in various fields of activity for worldwide entities of the Group (finance/ accounting, procurement, human resources and IT).  The company is currently serving over 20 countries mostly across Europe for all major business lines of the Société Générale Group.


Driven by strong ambitions in banking captive service process optimization and business process management, our company and its team of professionals aim to become a regional center of excellence for Societe Generale Group, partaking the challenge of strengthening its position as a shared service provider for various lines of business and for multinational clients within the Group.

1. SSC FIN                                             
The Finance Shared Service Center of SG EBS, launched in 2011, now counts more than 250 staff delivering services for more than 300 client entities.

The team’s activity consists in delivering two important kinds of processes:  accounting- namely Group reporting in IFRS, statutory and regulatory reporting on top of the permanent supervision activities and related set of control; and Account Payables and Travel& Expenses, with teams specialized in optimizing all procure to pay activities.


The Human Resources Shared Service Center of Société Générale European Business Services, launched in 2012, now counts more than 180 staff delivering HR services for SG entities from EMEA countries (mainly France, Romania, Switzerland and Luxembourg) and some specific HR services globally.

The team’s activity consists in delivering five main processes: contact center support, trainings organisation, data management, recruitment and HRIS & Reporting.


The IT Service Center (SSC-IT) of Société Générale European Business Services is a new organization that started early in 2015 to allow Société Générale Group to extend its IT operations in Eastern Europe.

Currently, most of our team is integrated into the IT department (ITEC) of the Investment Bank of Societe Generale - GBIS for Global Banking and Investor Solutions.

We are currently extending our team to work with all business lines of Société Générale Group: French retail bank, international retail bank and insurance services, and corporate IT systems
